Merry Christmas Taipei !!
Although we have about more than half people is the Buddhism faith.
Our church still have many people in the Christmas night.Our Christmas have many beautiful Christmas tree.People love have a window-shop in the east-area of Taipei.And you can see the beautiful light on the 101 building!!

Trekking in Taiwan

Taiwan have 6 national park. Four of them have many trekking line in the mountain area. We have 1 to more than 10 days trekking line. The trekking line usually throw the altitude 1000 to 3000 meters above sea level. The Mount. Syue is the 2nd higher mount. in Taiwan.We usually plan 3~4 days trekking to the triangulation point ( 3886m).

The 3 days trekking plan usually like this:
Day 1 Wuling to 369 Lodge bed 369 Lodge
Day 2 369 Lodge to Mount. Syue bed 369 Lodge
Day 3 369 Lodge to Wuling

In this trekking line we can get 2 triangulation point, Mt. Syue East Peak (3150m) & Mount. Syue. In the Mt Syue East Peak we can see around this mountain inculd Mt. Pintien , and Mt. Syue. The 369 Lodge need to apply by Shei-Pa National Park.

Raining weather in Taiwan

Taiwan have 4 clear different season.
Many rain from May to early June.That Sprin rain we call "Meiyu season".
The word "Meiyu" means that the rosette were in full flower in that time and have rain.
The summer in Taiwan we have many typhoon and make many damage.
But it's still a good time travel in Taiwan.
Many wildlife bring their child and many temple active in that time.
In the autumn, we have many red maple in the mountain side.
In the winter, it's always raining. But thw mountain higher than 3,000m will have snow. And trekking in Taiwan is easy and have many fun.

How small is it ?

Taiwan is a small island in the Pacific Ocean.

About 3596000 km^2 and more than 1000 km coast line.

The altitude from the sea to 3945 meters above sea level.

But we have more than 20,000,000 people!!

Many different culture and nature side.

More than 10 different aborigine from diferent place move in to Taiwan.
